The introduction of the iPad into our daily lives has opened many new opportunities for individuals living with autism yet we often struggle with using the technology or thinking creatively about how to embed its use across the day to support the development of important skill sets such as communication, behavior regulation, learning and independent functioning. Andrew’s Gift is pleased to offer a day for families and others who support individuals with autism to increase their skills in using an iPad and to explore applications that support growth in a wide variety of areas.
If you already have an iPad, please bring your iPad with you that day. Come ready to explore your device, download a wide variety of apps and partner with a professional than can assist in problem-solving the use of your iPad.
If you're planning to attend, please arrive by 12:30pm at the Vista School, located at: 1021 Springboard Drive, Hershey, PA 17033
